About sections and bios are always awkward and I don’t like writing them. Do you know what I DO like? A good list. So, here is one of those with some history and stuff that I like so you can get my ‘vibe’…or whatever.
Born and spent 30 years in and around Cedar Rapids, IA. Don’t ask me about Hawks vs. Cyclones. I don’t care.
Moved to Southern Oregon in 2012 to be closer to the mountains and fresh fruit. I live here with my husband, Evan, and our 4 cats. Together with some friends, we host Woodlands Running Co., a trail running group and race company that is really just a feeder program for friends and socializing.
Diagnosed with “double hit” diffuse b-cell lymphoma in May 2021. I chose not to find out staging and never Google it (yes, that’s an option). It’s the best/most difficult thing I’ve ever experienced.
Passions include whatever I’m doing at that exact minute. Usually, that is reading, writing, sharing memes with friends, watching all the streaming services, telling my cats ‘n’ husband how wonderful they are, and thinking about what I’m going to eat next.
